My aunt is dead. Passed away today. Marlene Tortos, mid-50s, who went to the United States and lived in New Jersey for a significant chunk of her life. Had four children, who now live in Orlando. She got this damned bug and it ate her alive within a week. The doctors will only hand us the body if we agree to have her cremated, otherwise to the big, mass grave with her. And as it is, it's not going to be cheap. I really don't know what the hell to feel. There is something stuck in my throat, and I wanna freak out, and my family is all about being reconforting and it's appreciated but I honestly want to scream. And puke. Probably not in that

I am most definitely a D&D Third Edition / D20 Modern bee-yotch, but in my current search for RPGs to play while staying at home, I found this bad boy: https://mqsalmon.itch.io/getintherobot "STAY IN THE ROBOT!" Price is something I can't match at the moment, but the general concept of "It's NGE-ish Robot Anime, you're not the robot pilots but the poor bastards trying to keep them functional on time and under budget, and if that sounds like something out of "Paranoia" you can play it that way" sounds cool.

It's official: COVID-19 is a pandemic, and to make things worse it's right here in Costa Rica. A high school a few blocks away from my home closed down today because one student tested suspicious. Whole family but me is going as crazy as everybody else is, buying lots of sanitation crap and one sneeze no matter how much protocol is followed has my mother pontificating for a whole minute at the least about how you need to not sneeze on everybody, like you could will yourself to not freaking sneeze for whatever damn reason, like you smell some strong chemical.
