Been checking out the "Arpeggio of Blue Steel" anime on Netflix. It's... okay. Not really sure about it. For starters, all the crazy with the Fog Fleet would probably only be able to be produced on a cheap consistent basis for a TV series with 3D anime, but... well, this and "Knights of Sidonia" are the only ones I have seen so far and I am still not completely getting a feel for it.
Also know on good faith that it's not a 100% true-to-the-manga adaptation (obvious, they are trying to shove as much as they can within 13 episodes). Probably that "helps".
On the other hand, been starting to read the manga. It's cool.

SILENCE - A SHORT MANGA BY ARMANDO CHACON
This short manga was written by Armando Chacon (Zairdacorus on DeviantArt), a piece that borrows inspiration from works like "Berserk" and "Blasphemous". (Mature Audiences Discretion Advised: violence, body horror). A very good example of the artistic capabilities of Armando (who is open for art requests, including comic pages).
