"There are some versions of Rei Ayanami running around as Wonder Girl. And some of them have taken to accesorize.
It is not hard to believe, considering the fact that... well... maintaining identification of friend and foe (and, admittedly, clothing damage) is a part of the job.
My sister... no, scratch that... my niece is one of them. Those corporate guys have managed to get several costumes, and considering the rate at which she mows through them, it's a good thing.
A lot of those costumes... well... they're replicas of mine. But she also has some replicas of Diana's costumes.
This is one that she actually likes to wear on her off-hours mostly. That particular stage of Diana's life wasn't the greatest, but I admit that she looked very good on that get-up.
I guess it's Rei trying to find a connection with her or something."
